SNOW DAY MEAL PROCEDURES SNOW
DAY MENU ALERT: Because of Friday’s snow day, Elementary Schools will serve the
following meal on Monday, January 5, 2009:
Yogurt/String Cheese or Hot Dog
·
If your child chose
lunch on Friday, they may also eat on Monday. ·
If your child chose Mini Corn Dogs or Cheeseburger on Monday,
they can take hot lunch on Monday, but the choices will be Yogurt/String
Cheese or Hot Dog. ·
If neither choice is acceptable, you should pack a cold lunch
from home. Remember
that your child’s account is NOT charged if they do not eat. A)

Snow Days:
When
school is cancelled due to inclement weather, the meal that was scheduled to
be served on the snow day will be served on the return day of
school. ·
The lunch choices that are made for the snow day
meal will be honored on the return day. ·
Students who had selected hot lunch on the return day
will receive the choice they selected but the meal will be from the snow
day menu. ·
For example: Tuesday
is a snow day. Tuesday’s menu
will be served on Wednesday, the return day. ·
If a student originally elected to eat hot lunch on the return
day, they can eat hot lunch but may not receive their first choice. All hot food is prepared at the high school and shipped out hot
on the day it is served. |
