STUDENT COUNCIL

Student Council representatives and officers are elected

at the beginning of the school year and meet monthly or
as needed throughout the year.

Student Council is responsible for student spirit throughout
the school. Activities are organized to promote citizenship,
including a toy drive at Christmas time, fundraisers for
community and national organizations including cancer
research, and community food pantries. Student Council
also sponsors student socials on Friday nights throughou
t the school year. Money raised by Student Council is
dispersed to teachers for supplies and equipment needed
in their classrooms to enhance learning.
