Summer Food Service Program

2022 Summer Food Service Program

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) was created to ensure that children in lower-income areas could continue to receive nutritious meals during long school vacations when they do not have access to the National School Lunch or School Breakfast Programs. The SFSP, also known as Meet Up and Eat Up, is operated at the local level by program Sponsors and is administered in Michigan by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE), Office of Health and Nutrition Services.  Free meals will be available to children 18 years of age and under or persons up to age 26 that are mentally or physically disabled.

The Grand Haven area program is operated by the Grand Haven Area Public School District's Food Service Department.  Locations around the district are listed below.  For more information, please contact the Food Service Department at 616.850.6080
