Grand Haven High School Ensembles

Grand Haven High School offers band students various performance opportunities. Students can perform in both Concert Ensembles and the Buccaneer Marching Band.

Concert Ensembles

Students may perform in one or more of the following concert ensembles:

  • Wind Ensemble 
  • Symphonic Band
  • Concert Band
  • Buccaneer Big Band (Jazz Band)
  • Pep Band
     

Marching Band

There are many sections that make up the Buccaneer Marching Band:

  • Drum Majors
  • Woodwinds
  • Brass
  • Buccaneer Percussion Corps
  • Color Guard

      The GHHS Band is turning 100! Join us for an exciting night of the band performing at Waterfront Stadium and backed by the Musical Fountain. From there, join us as the fountain presents it's show "Music through the Decades". Details forthcoming in September.

      Biggest annual event for the band. WE NEED SCORES OF ADULT (and student) VOLUNTEERS TO RUN THIS EVENT. Tickets $7 adult/$5 seniors and children. $22 family (max 2 adults). Kids 5 and under free. $3 Programs
