Yes. You can find early voting dates and locations by searching your local precinct at the Ottawa County Clerk’s website: https://miottawa.org/clerk/elections/early-voting/

Absentee ballots will be mailed to voters who have requested one beginning on September 24, 2026. If you'd like to vote by mail, you can request an absentee ballot anytime before then. Requests should be submitted by October 30, 2026 to allow enough time for mailing.

To vote in the election, you must be registered. The deadline to register online or by mail is October 19, 2026. After that date, eligible voters may still register in person at their local clerk's office through Election Day with proof of residency.


Yes. If you rent a house, you can still vote. You must be a registered voter residing within the school district’s boundaries.
