Phoenix Strong: Building Pathways to Graduation

At Central, we help students take the next step toward graduation with confidence. As an alternative education high school, we provide a flexible, supportive environment where students who may be behind in credits can get back on track and keep moving forward.

Our quarter-based calendar makes it possible to earn up to 8 credits a year, so students can catch up faster and see progress that keeps them motivated.

Since 2002, more than 900 students have graduated from Central—and that number continues to grow. Our team is dedicated to meeting students where they are, supporting their goals, and celebrating every milestone on the path to graduation.

The Phoenix Experience The Phoenix Experience is about more than academics — it’s about resilience, growth, and community. At Central High, students rise to challenges, discover new passions, and give back through frequent service projects that make a real difference. Whether it’s mentoring younger students, competing on Quiz Bowl, or leading a community cleanup, students soar by lifting others.
Grand Haven Cyber School Grand Haven CyberSchool gives GHAPS students in grades 7–12 a flexible, fully online learning option with support from local staff. Learn anytime, anywhere, at your own pace.
