Phoenix Strong: Building Pathways to Graduation
At Central, we help students rise and thrive. As an alternative education high school, we’re here for students who may be behind in credits—offering a flexible, supportive environment that empowers them to get back on track toward graduation. Like our mascot, the Phoenix, our students embody strength, resilience, and the power to start fresh. Every day is a chance to rise, rebuild, and move forward with confidence.
With our quarter-based calendar, students can earn up to 8 credits per year—catching up faster, staying motivated, and celebrating progress along the way.
Since 2002, more than 900 graduates have walked across our stage, each one a powerful story of perseverance and growth. Our staff is dedicated to guiding every student to discover their potential and succeed on their own path.

Why a Diploma Matters
High school graduates earn more: on average, about $9,200 more per year than those without a diploma.
Graduates have more job opportunities and greater access to higher education and training.
A diploma is linked to stronger long-term health, well-being, and stability.
In 2022, the U.S. public high school graduation rate reached 87%, showing how critical this milestone is nationwide.
