Central High School Enrollment Process

Students From Grand Haven High School

1. Meet with a school counselor or assistant principal
   Meet with the Grand Haven High School (GHHS) Assistant Principal and/or your GHHS counselor to discuss a potential transfer to Central High School.
   *Note: This meeting can be requested by either the student or the parent.

2. Schedule a visit: If a transfer is recommended, the student or parent must contact Central High School to schedule a tour and appointment.

3. Confirm with a school counselor: After the meeting at Central, if the student and/or parent wishes to continue with the transfer, they should confirm this decision with the GHHS counselor.

4. Complete a transfer form: The GHHS counselor will provide the student with an Intra-District Transfer form. This form must be signed by both the student and parent, then returned to the counselor.

5. Admission to Central: A student is officially admitted to Central High School once the completed transfer form is on file in our office.
