LMS CHILL Program
The Community CHILL (Completing Homework in a Learning Lab) Program is a homework completion program that is available to any 5th - 8th grade student enrolled in Grand Haven Area Public Schools. The purpose of this program is to provide a supervised location for students to complete assignments, catch up on past due work, study for tests and receive extra help. The Community CHILL staff communicates with teachers so that we are all working on the same goals with students. High school or college-aged mentors are often found volunteering their time to help CHILL students succeed. The program meets Mondays through Thursdays immediately after school at Lakeshore Middle School. An assortment of snack options are provided each day.
Space will be limited to 20 students or less. Students whose applications have been accepted will be contacted to set up a start date if openings are available. Any additional students will be put on a waiting list.
Please contact your school counselor with further questions or to apply.
