Chromebook pickups, Google passwords, ParentVUE updates, and more

As we prepare for the 26-27 school year, we have several important updates regarding student Google passwords, the new ParentVUE mobile app, and Chromebook pickup schedules.

Please review the details below carefully to ensure a smooth transition for your student.

1. Student Google Password Changes

Over the summer, students' Google passwords were updated to their new 6-digit locker combination (no dashes) followed by their 2-letter school code (wp for White Pines, ls for Lakeshore, hs for GHHS, ch for Central High, and cs for CyberSchool).

You can find your student's new locker combination under the Student Info tab in the new ParentVUE app.

2. New ParentVUE Mobile App

To view locker combinations, sign agreements, and manage student details, please download the updated app.

How to Get the New App

Apple Devices: Download ParentVUE (New) on the App Store.
Android Devices: Download ParentVUE (New) on Google Play.

Getting Started

Delete the old ParentVUE app from your phone to avoid confusion.
Open the new app and search for our school district using your zip code or location.
When prompted, select "Already Activated"—you do not need to create a new account.
Log in using your existing username and password.

3. Device Agreement & Insurance (Action Required)

Both the Device Agreement and Insurance acknowledgments must be completed prior to Chromebook pickup.

Agreements: When you sign in to ParentVUE, you will be automatically prompted to sign the Device Agreement and Insurance acknowledgments.
Paying for Insurance: Insurance cannot be paid through the ParentVUE mobile app, but it can be paid by visiting ParentVUE via a web browser.

4. Chromebook Pickup Details

5th Grade Students

5th graders will NOT receive Chromebooks before school starts. Devices will be available for in-classroom use during the day and are scheduled to go home after students complete lessons on proper Chromebook care following the first quarter.

6th – 12th Grade Students

Pickup will take place in the Lakeshore Middle School (LMS) Cafeteria.

Important Entry & Parking Info:
Do NOT use the Main Entrance. Pickup is located at the north end of the building (see attached map for details).
Parking: Please park in the Performing Arts Center parking lot, the LMS parking lot across Cutler, or use street parking on Cutler. Signage will direct you to the correct door.
