Parent Teacher Organizations

What is a PTO?

Parent Teacher Organizations (PTOs) bring families and staff together to help make our schools great places to learn and grow. PTOs support students by organizing volunteers, planning special events, and raising funds for the extras that make school feel fun and connected.

At Grand Haven Area Public Schools, many of our PTO groups host fun runs and other activities each year to raise money that goes right back into creating positive experiences for students—things like field trips, classroom supplies, enrichment opportunities, and appreciation events for staff. PTOs play a huge part in building a welcoming school community for everyone.
