Operations

Grand Haven Area Public Schools, founded in 1886, now comprises 12 educational facilities spread across 1.1 million square feet and situated on 270 acres, covering an expanse of over 100 square miles. Our department's role is to ensure a secure and clean learning environment for all students.

Our custodial team is responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of our facilities. Meanwhile, maintenance staff is responsible for maintaining all spaces, recreational areas, and sports fields throughout the district. In addition to managing all necessary equipment, they handle all phases of maintenance, including preventative maintenance for the district.
