David Van Dyke is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology and the Director of the Masters of Arts program in Marriage and Family Therapy at Wheaton College.
The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist operates a private practice, Summit Clinical Services, and specializes in work with children, adolescents and their families.
David was an Associate Professor at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University/Chicago for 12 years. He has also taught at the Chicago Center for Family Health, MacNeal Hospital and the University of Georgia. He is also the Senior Partner of Systemic Solutions, which provides psychologically informed training for businesses and nonprofits in the Chicago area, and is an editorial reviewer for publications including the Journal of Systemic Therapies.
He received his B.A. from Wheaton College, his M.S. from Fuller Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. at the University of Georgia. His high school activities included the Science Olympiad team and he was also captain of both the football and baseball teams his senior year. He resides in Wheaton, Ill., with his wife and family.
