With the start of a new school year just around the corner, there are a lot of exciting things happening in the world of Buccaneer Athletics. We're kicking off our fall sports season and wanted to provide a few quick updates. For the latest event info, ticket sales, and more, visit www.ghbucsathletics.org.
Join Us for the Upcoming Valor Game
Our first home varsity football game will honor those who serve. This special evening includes military, fire, and law enforcement displays, live music, a flyover, and apparel/coin sales starting at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit a Folds of Honor Scholarship.
The game begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free for active military, veterans, and first responders with ID.
Superintendent Perkowski will host a Scoop with the Supt. session at 5:30 p.m. Learn more and RSVP at www.GHAPS.org/engage.
GHHS Marching Band to Take Center Stage (Stands)
The GHHS Marching Band will energize home games from the center of the home stands under the press box. The area will be roped off during the third quarter and halftime show.
Many thanks to our GHHS Marching Band for providing a fun, spirited experience!
The map shows student section and new band seating locations for home varsity football games.
Annual Athletics Reminders
- All events are 100% cashless: ticket sales, concessions, apparel. Accepts major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, tap-to-pay.
- Tickets may be purchased in person or online: GOFAN page.
- Grades 7-12: free admission using GOFAN student ID or sticker from middle/high school offices.
- Kid Zone: supervised fun for students up to 6th grade on soccer field behind bleachers.
- No admittance or re-entry after halftime; plan accordingly.

Monday, August 25, 2025, 6:00 p.m., Grand Haven High School welcomes Damon West to speak with athletes, parents, and coaches.
Damon's story of resilience, redemption, and leadership inspires audiences nationwide.
Free and open to all GHAPS athletes, parents, and coaches.
