We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with the Grand Haven Salvation Army. As an example of their impact, the organization recently hosted a Back to School Family Night event, which saw more than 100 families provided with dinner, school supplies, and other basic needs as they prepared for the start of school.
With more than 300 students in Grand Haven Area Public Schools experiencing housing difficulties in our community, we are beyond thankful for the additional support that our partners from the Grand Haven Salvation Army provide for children and families in need.
Throughout this school year, we will be highlighting key GHAPS community partnerships at each school board meeting to share their stories of impact with the rest of the Grand Haven community.
