For more than 25 years, Pam DeYoung has played an important behind-the-scenes role in supporting students across Grand Haven Area Public Schools. Based at Grand Haven High School, she works in both the kitchen and warehouse, helping prepare and organize meals and ensuring they are delivered to schools across the district so students are ready to learn each day. Here’s what one of her colleagues shared:
“Pam has been with GHAPS for more than 25 years, and she is one of the most dedicated people I know. She cares so much about our kids, and it shows in everything she does. She takes pride in making sure students across our district have the meals they need each day, and she works hard behind the scenes to help make it happen.
Even on the busiest days, she keeps a positive attitude and is always willing to jump in and help wherever it’s needed. Her passion for her work and for our students motivates all of us around her. We are lucky to have Pam on our team.”
