This week, Griffin Elementary hosted more than a dozen “Celebrity Readers” from our schools and community to help get students excited about reading! Parents, district administrators, local law enforcement officers, and even Mary Ellen Murphy from WGHN stopped by to read stories with each class. After reading time, the students also had a chance to connect with each celebrity by asking questions and learning about what they do and what they love to read.
Thank you to everyone who participated this year, helping spread the joy of reading during this “March is Reading Month!”
