Angie Prieditis, a counselor at Grand Haven High School, is known for the care and consistency she brings to her work with students and families. Since joining GHHS in 2016, Angie has supported students through academic planning, college and career conversations, and day-to-day challenges, while also helping coordinate broader supports alongside teachers and support staff. No two days are the same — and that variety is part of what makes her work so impactful.
In addition to her role as a counselor, Angie leads the Bucs Care food pantry at Grand Haven High School, a program that provides groceries to students and families in need throughout the year. With the help of student volunteers, parent shoppers, and community partners, Bucs Care continues to grow — ensuring families have access to food with dignity and care. Angie’s commitment to supporting the whole student makes her a truly deserving Grand Star of the Month.
“Angie’s dedication and service to students and families is truly exceptional. In addition to her tireless work as a counselor throughout the school year, she leads and supports the Bucs Care food pantry year-round — including during the summer months. Much of her work happens quietly and behind the scenes, but her compassion, generosity, and unwavering commitment to helping others make a meaningful difference for families in our school community.”
